Wizard Shutdown Service
It’s important if you are planning to turn your hot tub off over winter or for any other long periods of time, that it is done correctly to avoid damage occurring to pipework etc.
Our Winter Shutdown service package includes;
- Remove and chemically treat the filters
- Full flush treatment
- Full drain down
- Removal of all residual water
- Clean jet internals
- Clean cabinet and panels
- Clean and spray cover with a protective UV spray
- Acrylic waterline cleaned
- Disconnect the pumps and heater
- All pump seals inspected for signs of leakage
- All plumbing unions tightened
- Water removed from pipework
- Visual health check – Remove the access panel and ensure pipework and all components are in good working order.
- Turn hot tub off at the mains
We require the hot tub to be full on arrival and preferably up to temperature. We will also need a safe place within 10m of the tub to depose of the water.
This service typically takes 1.5 hours, dependant on the hot tub.
