Wet End for 2HP Durajet (Cascade)
Complete replacement Sta-Rite (Balboa) Durajet spa pump wet end with 2hp rated internal impeller and designed specifically for use with Hot Tubs and Spas. This wet end is very distinctive and can be easily recognised by having fins in the front volute face. The Sta-Rite Durajet pump made by Pentair was discontinued some time ago now but these genuine original wet ends along with the complete pumps have now been re-manufactured by Balboa.
This 2hp Sta-Rite Duajet pump wet end has been used by a few hot tub brands over the years. This exact wet end can be found on USA spa brands such as Dimension One Spas, Master Spas, HotSprings & others.
This complete Balboa/Sta-Rite Durajet wet end includes the following items:
- Impeller – 2hp
- Faceplate with two air bleed screws
- Housing (Rear Volute)
- Ceramic mechanical shaft seal
- All associated internal O’ Rings
- Wet End Rotation – All pump wet ends can be installed onto pump motors in three positions, 12 O’clock, 3 O’clock or 9 O’clock easily so that they can attach to your spas plumbing unions.
- Side Discharge – This means the inlet (suction) and outlet (Discharge) are offset from one another. When you look directly at the face of the wet end you will see that the outlet is positioned off to one side in comparison to the inlet regardless if the wet end has been rotated.
- Fitment – Wet end is attached to the motor by four bolts and the impeller is threaded on to the motor shaft. It has both 48 frame and 56 frame motor mounting studs so either a 48 frame or 56 frame motor can be used.
