Waterway Exec Euro 48 Wet End (2×2)
Genuine direct replacement Waterway 48 Frame pump Hi-Flo wet end with 2-inch plumbing union connections on both the inlet and outlet (78mm thread OD). The Waterway Hi-Flo wet end is a powerful yet compact wet end with a large-sized 4hp rated impeller. This type of Waterway wet end is found on 1.5hp and 2hp Waterway Hi-Flo hot tub pumps and they are Waterway’s most common European 48 frame pump. This Hi-Flo wet end can be found on Beachcomber spas, Spaform Hot Tubs & others. Although this wet end is labelled as 4HP it is commonly fitted to 2HP Waterway pumps and sold as a 2HP as a complete pump.
Can be used to replace the wet end on the old MagnaFlow HydroAir HA440 pump which is found on Spaform spas. You will, however, need to buy flat gaskets in the related products to seal the plumbing connections.
This complete Waterway wet end includes the following items:
- Impeller – 4hp
- Faceplate with 3 bleed screws
- Housing (Rear Volute)
- Ceramic mechanical shaft seal
- All associated internal O’ Rings
- Wet End Rotation – All pump wet ends can be installed onto pump motors in three positions, 12 O’clock, 3 O’clock or 9 O’clock easily so that they can attach to your spas plumbing unions.
- Side Discharge – This means the inlet (suction) and outlet (Discharge) are offset from one another. When you look directly at the face of the wet end you will see that the outlet is positioned off to one side in comparison to the inlet and not directly in-line.
- Fitment – Wet end is attached to an EMG motor by four small 1/4″ bolts. Sold separately. The USA motors the bolts run through the inside of the motor from the back to the front and attach to the wet end.
- These 4hp 48 Frame Waterway Hi-Flo wet ends can be bolted onto any 48 frame motors used with Waterway pumps. Will fit motors made by brands such as EMG, EME, AO Smith, Franklin Electric, Century Laser, US Motors & Emerson. Does NOT fit Chinese manufactured motors from LX pumps.
