Waterway 2HP Centre Discharge Wet End (1.5 x 1.5)
Genuine direct replacement Waterway 48 Frame centre discharge pump wet end with an internal 2hp rated impeller. This unique wet end model has 1.5-inch connections on both the inlet and outlet plumbing union connections (1.5 inch = 63mm thread OD). This type of Waterway wet end is found on 1.5hp & 2hp Waterway E-series hot tub pumps here in the UK & Europe.
Has been used in the past on very old Coast Spas, ideal for pumps found on Dream Maker Spas and others.
This complete Waterway wet end includes the following items:
- Impeller – 2hp
- Faceplate with air bleed off screw tap
- Housing (Rear Volute)
- Ceramic mechanical shaft seal
- All associated internal O’ Rings
Pump Wet End Overview
- Wet End Rotation – All pump wet ends can be installed onto pump motors in three positions, 12 O’clock, 3 O’clock or 9 O’clock easily so that they can attach to your spas plumbing unions.
- Centre Discharge – This means the inlet (suction) and outlet (Discharge) are in-line with each other. When you look directly at the face of the wet end you will see that the outlet is positioned in-line with the inlet.
- Fitment – Wet end is attached to an EMG motor by four small 1/4″ bolts. Sold separately. The USA motors the bolts run through the inside of the motor from the back to the front and attach to the wet end.
- These 2hp 48 Frame Waterway centre discharge wet ends can be bolted onto any 48 frame motors used with Waterway pumps. Will fit motors made by brands such as EMG, EME, AO Smith, Franklin Electric, Century Laser, US Motors & Emerson. Does NOT fit Chinese manufactured motors from LX pumps.
